App Preferences
Customize how Crew looks and works for you — theme, language, timezone, notifications, and more.
Theme
Pick how Crew looks on your screen:
Light
Bright background, dark text
Dark
Dark background, light text — easy on the eyes at night
System
Automatically follows your device's light/dark setting
Go to Settings → Preferences and tap the theme you want. The change applies instantly.
Language
Crew supports 14 languages. Switch your language in Settings → Preferences → Language.
The entire interface — menus, buttons, notifications, and AI responses — switches to your chosen language.
Supported: English, 한국어, 日本語, 中文, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português, Italiano, Türkçe, العربية, हिन्दी, Bahasa Indonesia, ภาษาไทย
Timezone
Set your timezone so Crew shows the right times for meetings, reminders, and scheduled tasks.
Go to Settings → Preferences → Timezone and pick your timezone from the list. Crew auto-detects your timezone on first use, but you can change it anytime.
Location Sharing
When location sharing is on, Crew can give you local weather, nearby places, and directions without you having to say where you are.
On: Crew uses your approximate location for weather, maps, and local recommendations
Off: Crew won't access your location — you can still tell it manually
Toggle this in Settings → Preferences. Your location data is never stored permanently.
Email Notifications
Control what emails Crew sends you:
Insight alerts: Get notified when Crew finds something important (meeting prep, deadline reminders, etc.)
Product updates: News about new features and improvements
Manage these in Settings → Preferences → Email Notifications.
Desktop App
If you're on macOS or Windows, you can use Crew as a desktop app for quicker access.
Already using the desktop app? Tap "Open App Settings" to manage desktop-specific options like startup behavior
Using the web version? You'll see a download button — grab the app for a more native experience
Connected Devices
See all the devices where you're logged into Crew — phones, tablets, and desktop apps.
View device name, platform, and when it was last active
Revoke access to any device you no longer use or don't recognize
This is a good security habit — check occasionally and remove devices you don't use.
Account Deletion
If you ever want to leave, go to Settings → Preferences and scroll to the bottom.
Delete Account permanently removes all your data — conversations, files, connections, and settings
This action cannot be undone
You'll be asked to confirm before anything happens
For more details, see Account Deletion.
