# कस्टम API इंटीग्रेशन

API Call tool आपको Crew को किसी भी external service से connect करने देता है जिसके पास REST API है। यह Crew का सबसे flexible tool है — अगर किसी service के पास API है, तो connect कर सकते हैं।

## कैसे काम करता है

1. **API credentials** Settings में store करें
2. **Crew से कहें** natural language में API call करने को
3. Crew API request construct करता है और results return करता है

## Credentials Set करना

External API use करने से पहले, API key store करें:

1. **Settings** पर जाएं
2. **API Credentials** तक scroll करें (या Marketplace skill install करते समय configure करें जिसे API key चाहिए)
3. Credential add करें:
   * **Key name**: एक label जैसे `MY_SERVICE_API_KEY`
   * **Value**: आपकी actual API key

Credentials encrypted होकर securely store होते हैं। API calls करते समय Crew `{{KEY_NAME}}` placeholder से credential inject करता है — actual key conversation में कभी expose नहीं होती।

## API Calls करना

### Simple GET Request

> "JSONPlaceholder API call करो पहले 5 posts लाने के लिए: GET <https://jsonplaceholder.typicode.com/posts?\\_limit=5>"

### Authenticated Request

> "मेरी API key से Airtable base check करो: GET <https://api.airtable.com/v0/appXXXXX/Table1> with Authorization: Bearer {{AIRTABLE\_API\_KEY}}"

### POST Request

> "Project management tool में new task बनाओ: POST <https://api.example.com/tasks> with body { "title": "Proposal review करो", "priority": "high" }"

## Supported HTTP Methods

* **GET** — Data retrieve करें
* **POST** — New resources create करें
* **PUT** — Existing resources replace करें
* **PATCH** — Resources partially update करें
* **DELETE** — Resources remove करें

## Response Types

* **JSON** — Structured data (default)
* **Text** — Plain text responses
* **Binary** — File downloads

## Timeout

* Default: 30 seconds
* Maximum: 120 seconds

### Airtable Integration

## Security

* Credentials rest पर encrypted हैं (AES-256-GCM)
* API keys conversation responses में कभी नहीं दिखतीं
* `{{KEY_NAME}}` placeholder system ensure करता है keys सिर्फ़ execution time पर inject हों
* Settings से कभी भी stored credentials delete कर सकते हैं

## Tips

* **Simple से शुरू करें**: Complex workflows बनाने से पहले basic GET request से test करें
* **API docs check करें**: Endpoint format और required headers जान लें
* **Scheduled tasks के साथ use करें**: Automated monitoring के लिए API calls scheduled tasks के साथ combine करें
* **Chain requests**: Crew से multiple API calls sequence में करवा सकते हैं — जैसे "API A से data लाओ, process करो, फिर result API B को भेजो"
