# Cross-Channel Conversations

One of Crew's most powerful hidden features is **cross-channel conversation lookup**. Crew can read and reference conversations from any connected channel, letting you seamlessly continue work across platforms.

## What Is Cross-Channel Conversation?

Imagine you started a research task on Telegram during your commute, and now you're at your desk using the web chat. Instead of repeating yourself, you can simply say:

> "Continue the research I was doing on Telegram earlier about market trends."

Crew will look up your Telegram conversations, find the relevant one, read the full context, and pick up exactly where you left off.

## How It Works

Crew has a built-in **Conversation History** tool that can:

1. **Search** your conversations across all channels by keyword or platform
2. **Read** the full message history of any conversation

All your conversations — whether from the web, WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, Telegram, Teams, LINE, or KakaoTalk — are stored and searchable.

## Use Cases

### Continue Work Across Devices

> **On Telegram (mobile):** "Research the top 5 CRM tools for small businesses." **Later on Web (desktop):** "Pull up the CRM research I did on Telegram and create a comparison spreadsheet."

### Reference Past Conversations

> "What did I ask about on Slack last week regarding the budget?"

### Combine Insights

> "Find my Telegram conversation about the marketing strategy and my Slack conversation about the Q4 budget. Combine the key points into a single brief."

### Check Previous Instructions

> "What instructions did I give you on KakaoTalk about the email template?"

## Example Conversation Flow

**Step 1:** You chat with Crew on Telegram

> **You (Telegram):** "Find the top AI startups in Southeast Asia that raised funding in 2026." **Crew:** \[Provides detailed research with 10 companies]

**Step 2:** Later, you open the web chat

> **You (Web):** "Remember the AI startup research I did on Telegram? Create a PDF summary of those companies with their funding amounts." **Crew:** \[Looks up the Telegram conversation, reads the full context, creates the PDF]

## Supported Channels

Cross-channel lookup works across all channels:

* Web Chat
* WhatsApp
* Slack
* Discord
* Telegram
* Microsoft Teams
* LINE
* KakaoTalk

## Filtering by Channel

You can specify which channel to search:

> "Show me my recent Slack conversations."

> "What was my last conversation on LINE about?"

> "Search my Telegram history for anything about 'project deadline'."

## Tips

* **Be specific with keywords**: Instead of "find my old conversation," try "find my Telegram conversation about the marketing campaign"
* **Cross-channel works both ways**: You can reference web conversations from messengers and vice versa
* **Recent conversations are easiest to find**: Crew shows the most recent matches first
* **All channels are private**: Cross-channel lookup only accesses YOUR conversations — never anyone else's

## Privacy

Cross-channel conversation lookup only accesses conversations belonging to your account. Each user's data is completely isolated — there's no way to access another user's conversations.
