Setting Labels

Give each account a label to help Crew distinguish them:

  • "Work" for your company account

  • "Personal" for your Gmail

Primary Account

One account is marked as primary — this is the default account Crew uses when you don't specify which one. Click Set as Primary to change it.

Using a Specific Account

Tell Crew which account to use in your message:

"Check my work email for messages from the HR department."

"Send this from my personal Gmail account."

"What's on my work calendar tomorrow?"

Gmail

Searching Email

"Find emails from Sarah about the Q4 budget."

"Show me unread emails from today."

"Search for emails with attachments from last week."

Crew supports standard Gmail search syntax, so you can be as specific as needed.

Reading Email

"Read the latest email from john@example.com."

"What does the email about the project deadline say?"

Sending Email

"Send an email to sarah@example.com with the subject 'Meeting Follow-up' and include a summary of our discussion points."

"Draft a polite decline to the invitation from marketing@company.com."

Crew automatically converts your text to a professionally formatted HTML email.

Replying to Email

"Reply to the last email from David saying we'll have the report ready by Friday."

"Reply to the budget thread confirming the numbers look good."

Google Calendar

Viewing Your Schedule

"What's on my calendar today?"

"Do I have any meetings tomorrow afternoon?"

"Show me next week's schedule."

Crew checks all your calendars by default — personal, work, shared calendars, and subscribed calendars.

Creating Events

"Schedule a team meeting tomorrow at 2 PM for 1 hour."

"Create a lunch event with Sarah next Tuesday at noon at the Italian restaurant near the office."

"Block 2 hours on Friday morning for focused work."

Finding Free Time

"When am I free for a 30-minute meeting next week?"

"Find a 1-hour slot between 9 AM and 5 PM next Monday through Wednesday."

Crew respects your working hours and skips weekends by default.

Travel Time

"How long does it take to get from the office to the airport?"

"I have a meeting downtown at 3 PM. What time should I leave from Mountain View?"

This uses Google Maps to calculate real travel times.

Editing & Deleting Events

"Move my 2 PM meeting to 3 PM."

"Cancel the dentist appointment on Thursday."

"Add Sarah as an attendee to tomorrow's team meeting."

Google Drive

Searching Files

"Find the Q4 sales report on my Drive."

"Search for spreadsheets I edited last week."

"Find any documents about the marketing campaign."

Reading Files

"Read the contents of the project brief document."

"What does the meeting notes file from Monday say?"

Crew can read Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, and plain text files.

Uploading Files

"Save this summary as a Google Doc called 'Weekly Report'."

"Upload the analysis results to my Drive."

Managing Files

"Delete the old draft from my Drive."

"Download the presentation file."

Google Contacts

Looking Up People

"What's Sarah Chen's email address?"

"Find the phone number for John at Acme Corp."

"Look up everyone from the marketing team."

Crew returns names, emails, phone numbers, organizations, and other contact details.

Practical Scenarios

Morning Productivity Routine

"Check my calendar for today, find any urgent unread emails, and give me a morning brief."

Meeting Preparation

"I have a meeting with Acme Corp in an hour. Find their recent emails, check the meeting details on my calendar, and look up the attendees in my contacts."

End-of-Day Wrap-Up

"Summarize the emails I received today, check if I have any tomorrow morning meetings, and draft a follow-up email to the client about the proposal."

Document Workflow

"Find the project plan on Drive, update the timeline section, and send it to the team via email."
