# Calendar

Crew integrates with both Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 Calendar, giving you full control over your schedule through conversation.

## Viewing Your Schedule

### Today's Events

> "What's on my calendar today?"

> "Do I have any meetings this afternoon?"

### Upcoming Schedule

> "Show me my schedule for next week."

> "What meetings do I have on Thursday?"

Crew checks **all your calendars** by default — if you have multiple calendars (work, personal, shared team calendars), it combines them into one view.

## Creating Events

### Simple Events

> "Schedule a meeting tomorrow at 2 PM for 1 hour."

> "Create a lunch event on Friday at noon."

### Detailed Events

> "Schedule a product review meeting next Tuesday at 10 AM for 90 minutes. Add Sarah and John as attendees. Location: Conference Room B. Description: Review Q4 product roadmap."

### All-Day Events (M365)

> "Create an all-day event on Friday called 'Company Off-site'."

## Finding Free Time

One of the most useful calendar features — Crew can analyze your schedule and suggest available time slots:

> "When am I free for a 30-minute meeting next week?"

> "Find two 1-hour slots between 9 AM and 6 PM on Monday through Wednesday."

> "When is the earliest I can schedule a 2-hour focus block this week?"

### How It Works

Crew:

1. Checks all your calendars for existing events
2. Respects your working hours (default: 9 AM – 6 PM)
3. Skips weekends (unless you ask otherwise)
4. Suggests the best available slots

## Travel Time

Calculate how long it takes to get between locations — perfect for planning back-to-back meetings:

> "How long does it take to get from downtown SF to SFO?"

> "I have a meeting at Google Campus at 3 PM. What time should I leave from Mission District?"

> "Calculate travel time from our office to the restaurant for tonight's dinner."

This uses Google Maps data for real driving/transit times.

## Editing Events

### Rescheduling

> "Move my 2 PM meeting to 3:30 PM."

> "Change tomorrow's lunch to Wednesday instead."

### Updating Details

> "Add Sarah as an attendee to the Thursday meeting."

> "Update the meeting location to 'Virtual - Zoom'."

> "Change the project review meeting to 90 minutes instead of 60."

### Canceling

> "Cancel my dentist appointment on Thursday."

> "Delete the team sync meeting for next Monday."

## Practical Scenarios

### Meeting Scheduling Workflow

> "Find a 1-hour slot next week that works for a team meeting. Avoid Monday mornings and Friday afternoons. Once you find a good time, create the event and invite the whole team: <alice@co.com>, <bob@co.com>, <carol@co.com>."

### Day Planning

> "Show me tomorrow's schedule, check the weather, and suggest what time I should leave home if my first meeting is at the office."

### Calendar + Email Combo

> "Check if anyone emailed me a meeting request today. If so, check my calendar for conflicts and respond appropriately."

### Weekly Review

> "How many meetings did I have this week? Summarize them and check if I have any prep needed for next week's meetings."

## Tips

* **Specify the calendar**: If you have multiple calendars, you can say "Add to my personal calendar" or "Check my work calendar"
* **Use timezones**: "Schedule a call at 3 PM New York time" — Crew handles timezone conversion
* **Combine with contacts**: "Schedule a call with Sarah Chen" — Crew can look up contacts to get email addresses for invitations
* **Multiple accounts**: If you have both Google and Microsoft calendars connected, specify which one: "Check my Google Calendar" or "Check my Microsoft calendar"
